After a number of leaked specs and pics, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has finally introduced at the IFA 2014.
Like in some leaks, the Galaxy Note 4 has a 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, powered by either the 2.7 Ghz Snapdragon 805 or the 1.9 Ghz Exynos octa-core chipset (no official details yet on what type that will arrive here in the country) , LTE capable, Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box, 3 GB RAM and slightly higher 3,220 maH battery.
When I watched the livestream over at Berlin. I got interested in some of the key features that the Note 3 doesn’t have. Here it is:
Smart Select – Thru the air command, you can select a number of pictures (that you might saw over the internet) or a number of text posts (example from a number of blogs) then you can send it either as an MMS or thru an email with a snap
New S Pen – which now has 3-4 types of pen strokes including calligraphy
Fast charging – which you can charge your Note 4 from 0% to 50% in just 30 minutes
Wide Selfie – Even though that the Note 4’s 3.7 MP front camera already has a wide angle lens at 90 degrees, you can even maximize it for a groupie thru this feature. It is like the panorama feature of a typical rear camera but now in the front camera plus it has f/1.9 aperture
Another thing that aside that it has a heart rate sensor (like the Galaxy S5), it doubles as your additional button when taking selfies. I’m curious also to the Smart OIS on it’s 16 MP rear camera
If I have a chance a to review this, I also wanna check the 3 mics inside of the device which provides more clarity and noise cancellation. Nice one Samsung coz just like me, you are now checking the voice recorder that is usually my thing for the Ron Not The DJ Podcast
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be available this October. No information yet on it’s official price.
