Torque Droidz Avatar TV first impressions, specs

I am happy that the people from Torque approached me to do a phone review. It’s my first time to do it for the brand. As I’m into the Android with TV craze, I chose their latest offering with those features, the Droidz Avatar TV.
This device was already released last year but it gave a refreshing take as it brought down to P3,199 from it’s original price of P3,999 plus I want to compare it with it’s nearest competitor with almost the same specs but a bit expensive at P200.

The back cover is glossy but not that ultra-glossy as I observed that looks like a more with a laminated finish. A minimal finger print magnet issues after I had my touch test. Good thing that the pre-installed screen protector is average in durability.

I also smiled as one of the pictures here will tell it’s country of origin which is not a problem. I discovered some things that were not that detailed compared to the specs printed on the box. It has 1.3 Ghz dual-core chipset (not only 1 GHz dual core), dual sim which has 1 micro and 1 regular and 1,500 mah battery. I suggested to one of Torque officials that to post the battery capacity in their next introduction of their new devices in their Facebook page. A bonus that it has a 1 ampere charger. A downer for me that it doesn’t support USB OTG.

That’s it for my first impressions for now of the Torque Droidz Avatar TV. Kindly wait for a number of days for the remaining details for my review.

Torque Droidz Avatar TV specs:

Dual sim (1 regular, 1 micro)
Android 4.2.2 Jellybean
1.3 Ghz Mediatek MT6572 dual-core chipset, Mali 400 GPU
5 inch FWVGA display
5 MP fixed focus camera with flash
VGA front camera
512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM
WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS
Micro SD up to 32 GB
No USB OTG support
FM Radio, Analog TV
1,500 maH removable Li-ioN battery
P3,199
