Looks like SKK Mobile has the local smartphone to watch out for as they now have the country’s most affordable octa-core handset, the Phoenix X1.
From its specs, I can’t believe that it is only P5,499. The device has a 1.7 Ghz octa-core chipset plus 5 inch IPS HD screen with a respectable 2,500 maH battery inside. The bit of a downer for me despite of it’s high price-to-specs ratio for me is the single band 3G
SKK Mobile has no words yet on when they gonna release it. As long as it doesn’t have the problems or bugs that the first few buyers that they gonna encounter, for sure it will have big demand for techies.
