Through a status post in their Facebook page recently, Cherry Mobile in a way made it clear that their new online video channel is official which they uploaded the unboxing of the most affordable octa-core so far, the Cherry Mobile Pulse.
As I did to my other posts, I’ll share the unboxing in screenshot fashion (in case you have difficulties on watching the video esp. on mobile). Like it was in the 3D render version, there is really a circular home button that like from iPhone. The package has the phone, earphones, wall charger, user manual and USB cable. After the hands in the video peeled off the plastic sheet with some of the Pulse’s specs, it is not clear if there’s already a pre-installed screen protector on it.Based on the video, good thing that it doesn’t have the Start lock screen and it looks like stock Android Kitkat based on the app drawer and the camera UI. In gaming, they played the brand’s homegrown game, Manila Rush.
Based on the status post, there’s still no announcement on the unit’s availability.
