Lenovo S850 specs, hands-on, Antutu, camera samples

In the recent Lenovo event last weekend at Mall of Asia, a total of 3 devices were there for the showcase. 2 of them already have the SRPs. In this blog post, I’m focused to show you their latest smartphone, the Lenovo S850.
This 5-inch handset is covered by glass on both at the front and at the back portions. One unique feature is the LED notification at the back (aside from the usual at the front) which you can the color of it depending on your needs. This function means that you don’t need to flip it when there’s for example, an SMS.

This is powered by 1.3 Ghz Mediatek quad-core processor which is surprisingly got a bit high score on Antutu despite that it got a custom UI. Based on demo unit on the showcase, me and one guy (who took some camera samples too) got some troubles on pairing on Bluetooth like it took us for minutes. I don’t know if it is for the version as one of the Lenovo Mobile PH officials (and also at GSMArena) said that it has Bluetooth v 3.0 . I’m using a smartphone with Bluetooth 4.0 at that time. I hope that the demo unit that time has the problem. The shutter is at normal speed at about less than a second.

Another something that I noticed apart from other smartphones is there’s only one option for the front camera at 5 MP. There’s no selection to lower down the megapixel count.

Here are the 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera samples as well as the specs of the Lenovo S850. This smartphone is priced at P13,999
