A few weeks ago, Kata’s newest smartphone M2 showed up in the Owtek Shop HK Facebook page. Fast forward to today, I got an answer that this will arrive soon.
Update as og August 21, 2014: I visited the Kata Digital office a few days ago and got permisson to release the official price of the Kata M2 below.
Update as of August 17, 2014: Without that much notiification or update but Kata Digital Philippines website edited the battery capacity to 2,300 maH as also aligned to the Kata Digital website as I checked yesterday contraty to one that I got the screenshot 2 weeks ago.
These screenshots that I’m about to show you were straight from the Kata Digital Philippines website whch got me a bit of surprise but you can’t buy this on the said website so far (yup, you can also buy their devices there online). What’s important is the details that I got from it.
This is a bit better from the previous M1 as it has MT6582 quad-core chipset in a bit smaller 5.5 inch HD display. What’s cool is it still has that big juice of 4,000 maH battery and it is already Android Kitkat ready.
Converted to HK dollars, I have a guess that this might be at less than P10,000. I just hope that has better camera and no issues compared to the M1. Also, no availability is posted so far.
