s the Gionee Elife 5.5 will be having a launch in a few hours as I published this, I was lucky to check this newest flagship from the Chinese mobile phone brand just a few days ago.
True to the it’s commercial that I saw on Youtube, it is made from metal and glass. One thing that checked about it is the main highlight of the device, it’s 5.5 mm. thickness which I compared it when I stacked 3 1-peso coins. The coins are thicker than the phone. How I wish that I brought a tape measure if it’s really 5.5 mm. in thickness
Based on the unit that I checked, the handset has 2 default camera apps, the stock one and another one which gives more enhancements for both front and rear shooters. Switching pages is smooth as expected to it’s 1.7 Ghz octa-core chipset. I don’t know if this will be the final product as I noticed that the rear camera has an “extra body” wrapped around the rear lens which in my own opinion, it’s purpose for the protection.
The Gionee Elife 5.5 will have a launch later (or if it’s already running today, July 13) at the Cyberzone area of SM North EDSA with freebies that will be only available during the launch (check my previous post about it). The price today will be at P21,999 – no info though if this will be the official SRP.
