While
surfing on Facebook, we saw a post from the Metro Manila Food Trucks
Association that they gonna stop and serve in the south of the metro
Located
in Filinvest Spectrum Park (beside Filinvest Tent) Alabang, Muntinlupa City from Tuesdays to Sundays til
March 11 from 4pm to 12mn
It’s
a good news for us as well as for other food lovers in the South as we already
missed the good food of El Sur Weekend Market plus it was the first event for
the said park after the Inspiring Christmas Magic which happened last November.
We
dropped by there last night to try Mio Gelati which based on what we saw on the
net as one of the best gelatos with an affordable price tag so we had a little
taste run (food review) of it
There
are 2 kinds of gelatos as we saw, the regular at P80 per scoop and P100 for
premium. The transparent tags represent the regular while the white tags have
the premium flavours. The friendly vendor lady even allowed us to have a free
taste.
We
ordered the Cookies and Cream and did the free taste of Espresso chips. The one
scoop serving is full to our cup so a lot of value for our P80 plus it is
delicious. The espresso chips consists of coffee espresso and choco chips which
was also good. Next time, we will be having that pizza in a cone which only
costs at P50.
Back
to the ambience of the food truck market. We saw 12 food trucks and 2 booths
there. The variety of the foods there are vast and good to see that there are
enough number of chairs and tables. Additional thumbs up to us is the additional
lighting which lessens the impact of those flying mosquitoes.
We
are hoping that after March 11, the said association will either extend or will
be there again soon as their move is a good news for us southie foodies.
