Aside
from the Playstation 4, there were also
3 interesting devices from the Playstation family that were there for the PS4
launch in the Philippines.
First
is the PS Vita 2000 which it was our first time to hold and to do a little test
for a PS Vita device.
Second
is the PS Vita TV which is the world’s smallest console yet it can run 600+
gaming titles from PS Vita, PSP and some Playstation games. As we checked, it
is as small as your typical powerband for your smartphone. From the
presentation, one personnel from Sony Philippines said that Philippines is only
one of the few countries in Asia to launch the PS Vita TV. Enticing for us is
the price. We also did a little gaming test for the experience.
Lastly,
it’s the Playstation HMZ-T3 Personal 3D Viewer. The device has 2 parts, the
small box that probably acts like a processor (as it interconnects the PS4) and
the 3-D glasses. Based from the helpful personnel, it can also be used for PS3
and possibly for PS Vita TV. We also did a little test and it was a totally
unique way to enjoy console gaming with the PS4
For us, we had our utmost interest on the PS Vita TV because of it's portability and affordability. We hope that there will be more titles that will support to the said microconsole
