It's Krrunch Time, Get Playful!

Krrunch time at home:

In most of my free time every week, I have two things that I usually do: reading a broadsheet or playing my favorite role-playing game (RPG) in my gaming console. At first, I have that urge to read all of the news and articles as sometimes, I can really smell the ink that came from it's printing press. As I'm reading a part of a long story, I feel tired of reading that article so I switch my eyes to another newspaper section. The end result: I missed some infos and good views. Good thing, I have Pringles crispy chips at my lap to put that "ho-humm" time into a "Krrunch" time at my favorite pastime. Same goes when I feel the boredom to level up my RPG character. I'll munch some Pringles crispy chips to give me loads and loads of "Krrunch" to perk me up.

Thanks to Pringles crispy chips, now "It's Krrunch time, get playful!"

Please put #Ondoy in the end of your tweet messages

If you're a fan of Twitter and you're tweeting on Ondoy-related messages or announcements, please put this #Ondoy at the end of your tweet message so that we (or you) can possibly spread your message in the Twitter universe. As I saw it last Monday (and up to today) good to see that Ondoy is still one of the trending on that famous micro-blogging site.

It's finally confirmed, The Brewrats is back October 1, 2009

It's gonna be 7-10pm Mondays to Thursdays on 92.3 (still not confirmed the name of the radio station!) so don't bother on how can the show can be fit in a radio station that currently playing smooth music. Of course, expect a reformat to the station itself. Still confused? Here's the link to clear all of your confusions (posted by the Brewrats republic itself) CLICK HERE! Hooray!

The Brewrats will be back in October 1 in another radio staion?

Their last pic from DJ Ramon's twitter last Sept. 24

Note: As of this time, I do not have any direct words from any of the 3 rats if this news is true

Fact: You're right, The Brewrats is no longer airing at RT, that timeslot already occupied by King DJ Logan's show

Unconfirmed infos (+ some evidences):

The Brewrats will be back on October 1 (see this link! from Angel's Facebook fan page) and what suprises me that they may be in another radio station (I saw that particular message in the The Brewrats facebook last Sunday evening, Sept. 27 around 6pm but today it was already out of the Facebook wall) but you may saw some traces in that said Facebook wall. On what I saw last Sunday, it will be in 92.3 fm in between 6pm-12mn timeslot. There's one partcular brewster who texted me that it will gonna be their next radio station.

To end this, we must tune in our radio in that radio station on that said date and let's see and also be updated in the Brewrats Facebook

Finally, Edible Smoke Recess' "Nyctophobia" made it to the top spot at RJUR Countdown

After the premiere of their song last July and being in No.2 in the past 3 weeks in the RJUR Countdown (Fridays 6:30 pm RJUR 105.9 fm), their latest single "Nyctophobia" came victorious at No.1 last Friday. Hope to their fans that they may keep this up at least until their guesting at the said radio station on October 19 (thanks to Dondon, the band's vocalist for sending that info).

09/09/09: My comeback to the Brewrats booth, the first brewster to tweet and my Dominique Wilkins experience

Past 4 am (Manila time) of September 9, 2009, my tummy's already filled with fried rice, last night's viand and a mug of coffee to perk me up to travel from the south all the way to Mandaluyong City where the Brewrats booth is located. It's my first time to visit the Brewrats crew since they shifted to the morning slot. I'm suprised that I arrived at the building as early as 5:10 am. I missed the time that I can go at the boooth as fast as an hour. Today (and until May 2011), from Laguna to Mantrade alone, you may consume almost a couple of hours worth of travel time. Even the security guard at the reception area didn't hestitate to say "Ang aga mo naman!". I already entered to the radio station at around 5:30 am with DJ Cleo Caliente (aka Inday of the Brewrats republic) with her clear shades on. I came there for 2 reasons: one was to put up another "first" that a brewster will be tweeting on what's happening off the air at the Brewrats booth (which was also simulcast in this blog site for those who didn't catch this event) and two, to see the former Atlanta Hawks star and NBA legend Dominique Wilkins. It was my first time to see an NBA player. I even didn't have a chance to see Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant (who already came here in the Philippines 2 times). Around 5:55 am, Tado was the first "rat" to arrive as I'm waiting on the nearest seat in the entrance door. Of course, he was in a suprise when he saw me with a little "kamustahan". Before he went inside the DJ's booth, he said "Bago ko makalimutan...", he gave me some unique Brewrats stickers. I also had a "unique" bribe for him and Ramon Bautista that day. Minutes passed, DJ Angel arrived with some effects of the early morning hours in her eyes (of course, she was still in her kartada 9 looks) with that Team Pacquiao jacket wrapped around her waist. As I greeted her a "Good Morning!", she simply replied with a smile. I also had a chance to chat with DJ Cleo after her work. As I'm already inside the booth, DJ Ramon Bautista went in after the first commercial gap. It was about 6:30 am when some brewsters slowly occupied the available seats which Elmar came in at first. 7:30 am, when I saw more brewsters including Lucius Fox and his wine. Just like me, for sure they're also waiting for Mr. Human Highlight Film. Goodtimes got the first chance to interview Mr. Wilkins (with that longer airtime) that's why he arrived at the show's booth at past 8 am. Man, my 1st time to see a 6'8 guy as he has the exact same size of the door's length of the radio station. As the 3 rats threw some normal and Brewrats-inspired questions to him, there wrer more than 10 people inside the booth including some P.A. s from the NBA Asia Challenge (which was the main reason why he came here in the Philippines). After that short interview, they got a chance to have some photos with the NBA legend. Angel was lucky that she had a chance to sign autographs on her Dominique Wilkins NBA cards. After the show, I only had a little chit-chat with Ramon as both Angel and Tado had something else to do. Overall, it was a great experience for me that day.
