Just came from a 5-hour sleep when I got there 8:30am for the Pinoy Blogfest 1.0 headed by Gadgets Magazine. From the start, I already had a blast from the seminars/forums led by Mr. Abe Olandres, Mr. Ira Panganiban ang Ma'am Yvonne of Vera Files. Quite a moment that when Mr. Ira asked (us) the audience on which of us already had an experience on that old school web browser named Netscape and I raised my hand, he was surprised. (For those newbies on the net, I still had a chance to use that web browser way back in 1998) What's more when my eagerness went up and I participated in an open forum after their own individual discussions. Damn, I was like a celeb that time coz of the many snapshots that I got either in photo or on video mode. Good thing that I also met a new set of bloggersAfter that, lunch time! I already had a feast of knowledge and expect more from the food by the venue partner, Richmonde Hotel in Ortigas Center. It was my first time after a long time to be in a hotel once again. From the foods (sorry, I can't remember the exact names of the food in the buffet table) Sauteed Chayote, Carrots and Pork, Thai Chicken in Pandan Leaves, that Fish Fillet in White Cream Sauce, Spaghetti Primavera and a lot more, I am already contended on this event aside from the free flowing tea, coffee and light snacks that I got. In the afternoon, I attended the exhibits of gaming (courtesy of Asus) and the mobile networking (courtesy of LG Mobile Philippines)
Just minutes before night time came in, the organizers prepared a so-called dinner buffet with interesting acts like Feen. Of course, I wished that I may win in the raffle but I was unlucky that time. Nothing to worry about coz I already got some massive gift packs from the sponsors and that extra treat for being an earlybird attendee
Probably, this was one of my "sulit" blogging events that I attended so far. My big thanks to Gadgets Magazine (for the free pass and that April 2010 issue of your mag), to the men and women of Richmonde Hotel (for the great gastronomical experience and that warm hospitality) and a lot of sponsors like Manila Bulletin, Cola-Cola, Asus, LG Mobile and all of those sponsors that I forgot to mention
