LG G5 announcement highlights, first impresssions, camera samples
android events lg news octa-core techLG G5 just had their official announcement earlier in their media event. Even that I already posted some info via their ongoing pre-order promo, there were still some surprises there.
In their showcase, they also introduced the LG Rolling Bot and the LG 360 VR which I had a try.
LG G5 will be available here in the country for Php 34,990 in gray, titan, gold and pink. For me, better to grab that chance for their pre-order available in Lazada PH and participating stores right now until May 1 as for the same price, you'll also gonna get the LG Cam Plus and protective cover
And for my quick hands-on and camera samples:
Front: 5.3 inch IPS Quad HD display, 8 MP selfie cam with f/2.0 aperture
Back: 16 MP main cam with f/1.8 aperture and flash, 8 MP wide angle cam, power button/finger print reader
Internals: Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32 GB UFS ROM, micro SD slot up to 2 TB, 2,800 mAh removable battery
It's all clear at the right side as you can check the volume rocker at the left
Top: Noise cancelling mic, IR blaster, 3.5 mm. audio jack
Bottom: Speaker, USB Type C, pin hole mic
Glimpse of the main page and the pulldown menu. What can I say, navigating in between apps is like as easy as flipping pages on a book.
I went to the Camera UI. The video mode (top) has a bit less controls and settings compared to LG V10 but that's alright. The photo mode (bottom) has more promise, thanks to it's dual camera set-up
The gallery mode
My night will not be complete with the camera samples. The rear camera samples are already at auto HDR mode in the auto. You'll gonna see the standard main camera pic, wide angle pic and my selfie in that order
For it's looks, it really belongs to the flagship level from it's display, camera output and that unique modular design concept. LG G5 is now available in the country for Php 34,990
