I won't go home at the Flash Plus 2 Philippines launch event without the blog's usual tradition for smartphones.
I had the gold variant (apologies for the low light at the venue). The 8 MP front camera revealed that it can shoot at 16:9 aspect ratio so you can maximize the 88.4 degree angle for groufies. The 5.5 inch Full HD display is a-ok. The near stock Marshmallow is present with the vertical view of app drawer is present.
The power/unlock button is above the volume rocker at the right section.
Noise cancelling mic and 3.5 mm audio jack at the top. OTG capable micro USB port and pin hole mic at the bottom.
With the 2 GB RAM/16 GB ROM combo, it scored at 40,723 at Antutu. Seven out of 9 possible sensors are present at the said device.
The removable back cover is present as said earlier at the launch event, Flash officials wanted us to forget the SIM tray pin. The internal storage was supplied from Samsung
Forgot to mention that the 13 MP rear cam looks promising on low light plus it is set at 4:3 aspect ratio. I tried to trigger push the shutter button and it can process the pictures in almost no delay. The one hand navigation is possible on this device.
I am hoping to have a review of this device soon to test it on different light conditons. The Flash Plus 2 2 GB RAM variant will be available this May 31 2016 at 12 noon exclusive at Lazada Philippines.
