Globe Community's 1st gathering at Skye, yours truly as one of the winners

Last Tuesday, Globe Community from Globe Telecom (community.globe.com.ph) held their 1st gathering exclusive to the 1st 60 people who signed up to be at the event as well as our fellow bloggers and the media at Skye Lounge in Bonifacio Global. Present at the said event were Mr. Ernest Cu (President and CEO, Globe Telecom) and some executives from Globe Telecom and Lithuim, the one who handles the said forum site.

As of this date since the site was launched, there were over 3000 members (Globe and non-Globe subscribers) signed up at the forum site as they are exchanging questions, comments and answers about the telco as well as their fellow members' inquiries.

After Globe introduced different ways to help customers through social media, they want to have a collaborative help desk with fellow Globe and TM subscribers to help each other on some inquiries and to share tips.

Here comes Globe Community which can be found at community.globe.com.ph . Both mobile and desktop users can access the said site. For first time users thru mobile, Globe advised to click the full version so that you can see the "Register" link. You have 2 options to create a new account, either thru e-mail or sign-in using your Facebook account. Globe specialists will still moderate all the posts to the said website.

Once you already have an account, you can create a new topic (depending on the right category), reply to a post and click the "thumbs up" button if you think that a post was helpful to your inquiry. On the main page, there are 3 functions which you can see at the top portion of the site: explore, answer and learn
