brewrats-relatedAccording to Jimmy, his one of the favorite scenarios or words in the show is Laking Aircon specially when Tado accepted a call in the program with a girl with that laking aircon qualities based on her voice. brewrats-relatedOnce again, I remembered this tagline from a local brandy TV ad: Life s full of suprises. Here s a sad suprise. Mr. Labadlabad already left the republic for good.
April 30 to early morning of May 1, 2009 (if I am not mistaken) the last time I had an experience with him at the Brewrats Final Fantasy night. It not just ends there. Let me rewind those fun moments with him.
I already heard of his name late 2007 when the show s still a few months old. I had a first glimpse of him around March 2008 at the 2nd Sando Night party at Xaymaca bar. He was one wacky guy to watch....

brewrats-relatedTo those who still have a vote (& an answer to Angel s question on who s the no.1 in the evening radio station category) if Brewrats is at 3rd & BNO at 2nd position, Eli Soriano s Ang Dating Daan is the 1st (I would not post the exact figure) but there s a chance for us brewsters we must have a major rally of votes. We must show the power of over 9k fans in Facebook.

It's not just the Brewrats in my blog/Waiting for the next move
To those who are new into my blog and just heard it days ago (Wow! I had a historic week at the show, I called every single day this week), first thank you for the time reading my blog but I have something to tell. Don't be suprised if this site is not pure Brewrats info. The website name itself is the answer (as well as my site header)
Now that the show s gone, hope that DJ Robbie the Rascal (or the entire Static Interferance radio show) will fill in the 9pm-12mn timeslot of RT. I am already used (& loved) the way that show is running. Of course, I m still hoping for a comeback, in any form or media.

The Brewrats: I am still figuring it out...
....if our beloved radio will be gone for good or soon in a leave? Last night, they said for a lot of times that they are not boarding by next week coz they need some rest. Well, to those who didn t tune in last night, Tado said that they gonna post a message on the Brewrats Facebook page wall regarding on the status of the show but he didn t tell any particular day on when that statement will come out so be updated. If there s a ray of hope that might be an instrumental one, Tado also clarified that the Brewrats Idol Awards will continue as well as the Brewster Jam on July 25.
Now that the Brewrats republic might/will be gone, how I wish there s such like a Caretaker government...
So don t forget to tune in later at 9pm (1300 GMT worldwide). Let s all find out.

Is this the end of the Brewrats (an intro + questions)
If you were not tuning in last night, DJs Tado, Ramon Bautista & Angel are hinting (or maybe they really want to say) that the Brewrats will have its last episode. I am still hoping that they moved to another timeslot (or another radio station). As I called that night, I didnt have the chance to express these thoughts (which you may see here) coz its just mins. to midnight. Here s some of my questions
1. What will happen to that Brewrats Idol awards?
2. Who s gonna be the Brewster of the Year for 2008?
I may add up some questions in my future blog posts. I m wondering in the next few months on the situation of most Brewrats-related sites. If its gonna happen, I feel the sayang factor on growing Brewrats listeners worldwide. Expect related blog posts of this in the next few days.

Jimmy Bondoc admired DJs Tado & Ramon Bautista in Sabado Boys radio show
Just this morning as I listened to their show, as one of the Sabado Boys, Jimmy Bondoc (who s also one of the hosts) saluted 2 of the Brewrats crew DJs Tado and Ramon Bautista for running such a great and funny show.
According to Jimmy, his one of the favorite scenarios or words in the show is Laking Aircon specially when Tado accepted a call in the program with a girl with that laking aircon qualities based on her voice. Jimmy added that he liked the unique intelligence that the 2 DJs deliver in the show.

A brewster gig for Ronald later + for those who wanna see him for the last time
There s a brewster gig for Ronald Labadlabad later June 26 at Leprechaun bar (formerly Purple Haze bar) Tomas Morato corner E.Rodriguez ave. Some of the bands performing are Jeepney Joyride, FMD & 3 other bands.

My memories with Ronald Labadlabad + (Last part)
It was already past 12 mn of May 1 when Ronald & us brewsters said goodbye to DJ Angel. As a group, our feet lead us on our way to Mcdo Crossing (my brewrat moment:I m broke that time!) We came there for some value meal & the Japanese yakult guy will show us something:a Japanese sex gadget with a brand named Tenga really got our interest meter up specially Ronald (of course, its a Japan thing). We as a group continued our huddle & Ronald was happy that time. Almost 1am, we as a group had to separate ways to lead us to our own homes. My last glimpse to him when I show my Ingat (take care) sign to him with 2 or 3 other brewsters as my ride came in.
Overall, his over 20-month existence in the republic was something we must never forget.
Thanks for the memories, Ronald!
My memories with Ronald Labadlabad + (Third part)
April 30-early morning of May 1,2009 it was FF night at the show. As early as 8:30pm Ronald,me,other brewsters & Angel were already there at RT. We had chit-chat sessions with his usual fav topics. He said to me that time that he wants a job first asap then he will go back to school later on. He even a delight on a not so leftover junkfood which came from a reliable girlie source. As the FF night started with DJ Angel solely handling the show,Ronald & us brewsters were in hyper mode as we want to share every single FF info that every brewster knows. Of course, Ronald leading the pack on the mic. Off-air and until the show ended, he had some baon on what s latest on Alodia & constantly telling to Angel to have a part 2 of that night as soon as possible

My memories with Ronald Labadlabad + (Second part)
1st time I met him was few days after that event. Most of the time that I go to the booth,he s also there. Some of fun memories was when a Hard Gay cosplayer danced in front of him & he blushed. We also cant forget his domination on the mike just to greet. He s runner-up to Sto.Nino guy in the 1st Brewster of the year. Despite there were negative comments on him,he never got mad off or on-air. He still smiles despite those times. Also (for those who saw him for a lot of times at the booth), we can t forget his stories of his misadventures with Alodia Gosiengfiao (he s leading in that suggestion to please guest her at the Brewrats) and his interest in anime & some Japanese stuff.
I never thought (even in my wildest dreams) that our conversation during Final Fantasy was the last...

Too bad that our landline & the RT textline (at around 11pm Brewrats time last night) were broken coz I wanna share this on-air. Good thing, I have a blog to share this to others.
Once again, I remembered this tagline from a local brandy TV ad: Life s full of suprises. Here s a sad suprise. Mr. Labadlabad already left the republic for good.

Yes,Brewrats officially nominated at NYC polls but...
As I publish this blog, the show s in 3rd place but I have something to worry. To those who already voted (& really read every single detail of the site) it s said on the bottom part of the site (if you already logged in) that voting ends June 21,Sunday (as I already said in one of my recent posts) but up to this time, you may still send your votes. Quite tricky, huh?
To those who still have a vote (& an answer to Angel s question on who s the no.1 in the evening radio station category) if Brewrats is at 3rd & BNO at 2nd position, Eli Soriano s Ang Dating Daan is the 1st (I would not post the exact figure) but there s a chance for us brewsters we must have a major rally of votes.
