A cliffhanger as Aurora Gaming PH had to win the last two games until Game 5 to secure the first of two M7 Grand Finals slots over Selangor Red Giants
The Giants still has one more chance in M7 as they are waiting in the lower bracket finals
RORA got the win in the opening game but SRG equalized the series and even got the matchpoint in Game 3. RORA got a dominating Game 4 win to push the series to a Game 5 decider. The last game became more of an objective type as the northern lights was ready for SRG's 2 out of 5 tank jungle bans and to Leomore as they chose Akai to lead the charge. Light was the Game 5 MVP with 2/1/6 KDA using Khaleed.
That is also is to keep the possible PH vs PH Grand Finals to happen again since the M4, coincidentally in the same venue in Indonesia
Meanwhile, Team Liquid eliminated Onic ID out of the said tournament in the lower bracket with a 3-1 series win. The cavalry will face Aurora Gaming next, another BO5 at 4 pm still in the lower bracke
