Hotelogix has secured its certification from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), marking a major step forward in supporting hotels in the Philippines with fully compliant, digital tax processes.
This certification positions Hotelogix among the select cloud-based Property Management System (PMS) providers authorized to meet the country’s rigorous fiscal standards. The certification enables Hotelogix to help hotels streamline their tax documentation, minimize administrative burden, and stay aligned with mandatory government reporting requirements.
The BIR, an agency under the Department of Finance, oversees the assessment and collection of internal revenue taxes, fees, and charges. It mandates that hotels and other businesses issue BIR-compliant official receipts, maintain accurate books of accounts, and file timely and transparent tax reports. Over the past few years, the agency has accelerated its digital transformation thrust—requiring hotels of all sizes to adopt certified systems that promote traceability, real-time reporting, and improved governance.
“Securing BIR certification is a strategic milestone in our commitment to Philippine hotels,” said Aditya Sanghi, CEO of Hotelogix. “Hotels can now rely on the same system they use for daily operations to also support their tax compliance requirements. Our goal is to give hoteliers the confidence to grow, knowing that governance, compliance, and guest service are all supported by one modern, secure, and future-ready platform.”
Hotelogix is one of the most widely used cloud PMS providers in the Philippines, with more than 10,000 active users and over 15,000 keys under management. Several fast-growing hotel groups—including Global Officium Limited Inc. (GOLI), Enable Hospitality, Araw Hospitality Group, Astoria Hotels and Resorts, Azalea Hotels and Residences, and The Henry Hotels—use Hotelogix to power their operations.
With its BIR certification, hotels using Hotelogix can now issue BIR-compliant tax documents and prepare accurate financial statements and tax filings in accordance with the agency’s requirements. The certification strengthens Hotelogix’s leadership in the Philippine hospitality market and supports the industry’s broader move toward digital transformation and regulatory modernization. (PR)
