The key play went in after the recent lord dance in Game 4 which Demonkite got it using Akai but Sanji used diversion play using Lou Yi straight to the base of RORA with his teammates
From the post match media interviews, Coach MTB said that TLPH got better preparations in the match as one of the factors. He added that his team plans to have a break for a couple of weeks and move on from what happened in the series. On TLPH's side especially on that diversion play in Game 4, Sanji was ready for it.
Jaypee awarded as the Finals MVP. TLPH also finally won in an "even-numbered" season (They won in Seasons 11, 13 and 15) and first back-to-back chamnpionships since Blacklist International did it in Seasons 7 and 8
TLPH will be back in action esp. their main 5 together with TWIS Caloy this December representing the Philippines for SEA Games in Thailand.
