Maya has once again been recognized in the global stage, winning Best Consumer Digital Bank and Best Mobile Banking App in the Philippines at the World’s Best Digital Bank Awards for the third consecutive year.
The recognition underscores the strength of the Maya ecosystem, powered by Maya Bank’s digital banking infrastructure and Maya Philippines’ finance app experience, in reshaping how millions of Filipinos spend, save, borrow, and pay.
Organized by Global Finance Magazine, the award honored Maya for pioneering an integrated fintech ecosystem that unites payments, deposit, and credit for consumers and enterprises. This model—anchored on AI-driven transaction insights and embedded credit—has propelled Maya to global recognition as a digital bank and fintech innovator.
“Banking today is about being relevant in people’s daily lives. At Maya, we do that by integrating payments, savings, and credit in one seamless app. This win reinforces our strategy of building a digital ecosystem where people don’t just access finance—they use it with ease and confidence,” said Shailesh Baidwan, Maya Group President and Maya Bank Co-Founder.
This latest double win at the World’s Best Consumer Digital Bank Awards adds to Maya’s growing list of accolades. Earlier this year, Maya was named among Forbes’ World’s Best Banks, while also clinching Best Virtual Bank at the Retail Banking Awards by Asian Banking & Finance for three straight years.
