After almost won it in Spring 2025 Finals, Blacklist International finally did it to win their first PKL crown this Fall 2025 in their grand finals rematch with Boom Esports.
Unlike in the previous finals which BLCK dominated the first four games, it became a slugfest as both teams are either leading or to tie the series. What's noticeable in the series is the team who will have the late game usually wins the game.
Boom got the pivotal Game 5 win to have that 3-2 lead with their line-up of Dyadia, Marco Polo, Kongming, Musashi and Mayene. The defending champs almost won it in Game 6 as they led in early and mid game when BLCK got a triple kill at the 17:29 mark which Boom had no choice but to stretch the game to the ultimate showdown starting at the 20th minute which the teams had to dance to the Tempest Dragon and BLCK won in the tango without the use of the said objective. BLCK pushed the series in Game 7 after 22:19 gametime
This season because of the global ban system, red side was the key which BLCK chose and a surprise quick win for them in less than 9 minutes to seal the deal. The series win also assured Wetrnd to be with them in upcoming HOK Nation Clash this October 23 to 26 in Malaysia
In my exclusive interview with it's Finals MVP Chammy1 when I asked him on what he changed in his personal way from the previous season to now which helped them win the title, he said that is on the mental side.
Boom Esports will still bring home with USD 11,650 prize money, followed by Elevate at 3rd place and ACT at fourth
