Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) has partnered with PLDT Enterprise to lay the foundation for its smart campus transformation — a future-ready learning environment powered by high-speed internet, cloud-based communications, and advanced digital infrastructure.
Through PLDT Enterprise’s suite of solutions — including iGate (a dedicated internet access), SIP with Cloud PABX, and enterprise-grade mobile postpaid plans — the Ateneo is upgrading its campus-wide digital capabilities to support more seamless teaching, learning, and administrative operations.
“This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to shaping the future of education through technology,” said Mitch Locsin, First Vice President and Head of Enterprise Core Business, PLDT and Smart. “We are proud to support Ateneo de Manila University in its vision of becoming a smart campus and empowering the next generation of Filipino leaders.
The partnership enables the Ateneo to address long-standing challenges related to reliable internet and telephony services. With PLDT Enterprise’s iGate, the university now enjoys fast and stable internet connectivity across its Quezon City campus. The SIP with Cloud PABX system further modernizes communication infrastructure, allowing for scalable and cloud-based voice solutions across offices and departments.
Meanwhile, PLDT Enterprise’s postpaid plans give the Ateneo’s employees access to reliable mobile services with fixed costs and usage caps — helping the university manage communications expenses while improving mobility and responsiveness.
The benefits of the partnership will directly impact the Ateneo’s student and faculty population of over 19,000 individuals. Enhanced digital infrastructure supports e-learning platforms, real-time collaboration, cloud-based administration, and hybrid teaching models that cater to the evolving needs of education in the digital age.
