Day 1 of Week 3 of MPL Philippines Season 16 went in different directions earlier
First, the clash between the current and the main previous M-series champions between Onic PH and Team Falcons PH
Game 1 was a sort-of swift win for the Sonics led by the unkillable Fanny of K1ngkong with 9/0/4 KDA.
Game 2, Team Falcons did some tweaks with their line-up as their gold laner SuperMarco used Ruby (which he answered when I asked him in post match media interview after) to give some space to Kyletzy. FLCN had the early game until on the 9:33 on the game clock during the first lord dance which Onic PH first got the team lead in terms of kills score. Onic sealed the series in 2-0 with Brusko as Game 2 MVP using Kalea with 2/4/7 KDA
In the separate post match media interview which I connected that question, his fellow gold laner Kelra got excited to face it on Game 2 and he said that Marco did a great job
Meanwhile, two coaches familiar with each other faced again in the first match and no wonder that we had a see-saw of a series as Aurora Gaming also got a 3-1 record in their 2-1 series win over Twisted Minds.
Triple header is set later for MPL PH S16 Week 3 Day 2 which one of the matches will be Onic PH facing the four out of five players from their former MDL PH s5 team in Twisted Minds.
