MOONTON Games has unveiled the slot allocation for the M7 World Championship (M7).
The staging of the flagship international MLBB tournament in Indonesia is set to elevate MLBB Esports to new heights. In January 2026, the M Series will host its largest edition yet—marking a homecoming for the game's most passionate fans. The upcoming M7 introduces a major update with two Wildcard teams now qualifying for the Main Stage. This change coincides with the M Series' long-awaited return to Indonesia, the nation at the beating heart of MLBB Esports. The new structure will debut in Jakarta, turning the city into a global esports stage and highlighting MLBB's cultural impact in Indonesia.
The M7 will unite 22 of the world's best MLBB teams to compete for the USD 1 million prize pool. The tournament kicks off with eight Wildcard hopefuls fighting for two coveted Main Stage slots. The two Wildcard winners will join 14 directly-qualified Main Stage teams in the fight for MLBB Esports' most prestigious title. This format opens the door for emerging regions to shine on MLBB Esports' home ground. M7 also marks Japan's return to the M Series after five editions, following their recent comeback at MSC at EWC 25
Riding the momentum of MSC at EWC 25, the upcoming M7 will become the M Series' largest edition yet. Staged in Jakarta, Indonesia, it will captivate fans worldwide and cement MLBB's place as a global esports phenomenon. The M Series has long stood as the pinnacle of MLBB Esports. The global tournament unites players, teams, and fans worldwide in a celebration of competitive excellence. Returning to Indonesia, every team will be determined to claim the crown in what is regarded the homeland of MLBB Esports. For Indonesian teams, the stakes are even higher. The nation lifted the inaugural M Series trophy in 2019 but has yet to reclaim it, making the dream of winning on home soil burn stronger than ever.
