The final triple header of MPL Philippines S5 regular season came in unexpected ways earlier.
First match was for the security of upper bracket slot between Team Liquid PH and Aurora Gaming. The cavalry won got a 2-0 series over RORA but Game 1 was a back-and-forth match that it went as long as 26 minutes.
Karltzy won Game 2 with 8/1/10 KDA using Lukas in Naruto skin.
In the post match media interview, the Young Goat said that he enjoyed the said Naruto skin which I asked earlier. On Sanford as part of the newly announced Sibol MLBB roster, he said that he will do his best to jive in with his new teammates composed of whole Team Falcons and Onic PH's Kelra.
Second match, Smart Omega in their last match of the season really gave a hard time to the defending MPL PH champs Onic Philippines who's catching up as many wins as possible still for a possible UB slot as the Sonics got a 2-1 series win
Kelra flexed once again as the gold standard with 7/1/5 using Harith as Game 3 MVP. In the post match media interview, he echoed what Coach Ynot said last week that they're not really expecting that much to be in the upper bracket now.
They still have chances but it depends on their tomorrow's match vs. Twisted Minds and the match result of Aurora vs Team Falcons
Third match, the young guns of AP Bren finally got their first back-to-back wins to end their S15 season against Team Falcons who is one of the giants in the league today. Shizou got a monster 15/0/1 KDA using Granger as Game 3 MVP. Special mention to JamesPangks as Game 2 MVP with 10/2/7 using Leomord
Even with a loss, Coach Treb was quite happy with his boys in the post match media interview as he also gave credit for the Bs for the wonderful performance.
The last pair of matches to end the MPL Philippines S15 regular season is happening tomorrow at 5 pm
