Like what happened in my exclusive interview to his teammate Kelra, another idea came from his socials as I was in 2 days of Week 8 of MPL Philippines Season 15
The next target, their jungler K1ngkong. I was ready as early as Week Day 2 but I postponed it on another day as the media hub's sked was jampacked as we also accommodated P-pop group GAT which supported the Sonics plus the team went in a 3-game match versus TWIS and a match scheduled in less than 24 hours.
Week 8 Day 3 when it's time for the media exclusives signal, I quickly raised my hand and called for K1ngkong
From our conversations, he first learned to play a guitar when he was at Grade 7 when he saw his cousin and said "Astig ito a".
He got his first guitar, an acoustic one by Lazer as he requested it to his dad which quickly supported him on useful hobbies. Months after, he also got an electric guitar which he can't tell if either from RJ or another one from Lazer
On what are the first songs that he learned to play, he said that it was the 2018 hit by John Roa's "Di Ako FBoy" and on electric, he wanted to learn tghe guitar solo of IV of Spade's "Mundo" . Coincidentally, it was on the same year.
As he mentioned electric guitars, it popped three extra questions out of my mind. He never got played the hit arcade and console game Guitar Hero. When I asked of his dream electric guitar that he wants to buy, he said "Sa totoo lang po, wala naman po kasi di naman ako ganun na di sobrang hilig sa gitara. Kumbaga, basta meron ako. Nakakatugtog naman ako (kaya) ok na." When I asked if he's also interested some guitar pedal effects for his electric guitar, he said that it was about to go there but the pandemic happened so it stopped as he put in more time in MLBB and study modules.
On the story behind on why he decided to do an acoustic guitar cover of Cup of Joe's Multo "Gusto ko lang ipakita yung talent ko sa paggigitara. Wala akong talent sa pagkanta kaya gitara na lang."
To conclude my interview with him, I asked the question that sparked my idea when I saw his viral acoustic guitar cover followed by Team Liquid ID's Faviann which many amazed as the jungler is obviously not speaking in Tagalog but he was able to sing it properly and the comparison began in the comments section.
When I asked him his reaction to the song cover of his fellow jungler, he responded with "Masasabi ko, sobrang solid kumanta ni Faviann. Di ko in-expect na kaya nyang magsalita ng parang medyo fluent na Tagalog ng sunud-sunod ganoon tapos thank you kasi naappreciate nya yung OPM songs" (I can say, Faviann is solid in singing. I never expected that he can speak Tagalog one after the other then thank you because he appreciated OPM songs)
