Omega was able to get a quick win in Game 1 as OMG had other plans including a debut Helcurt pick by Andoryuuu. Their win made them at tied spot with TWIS with that familiar scenario that the ka-barangay is catching up in the latter stages of the regular season.
Same on what happened in the match between TNC and Team Falcons with Pandora subbing for Owgwen in the roam position. Yawi got this classic Chou performance to secure Game 1 but FLCN did some adjustments mostly on banning most of Yawi's heroes and stole a key Badang in the first pick.
The Green Falcons is still in the hunt for the possible upper bracket slot with RORA, Onic and TLPH. Before the match started, the Phoenix Army is no longer in contention in the top 2 based on the graphics that MPL PH socials posted
