Last pair of Week 2 matches in MPL Philippines S15 regular season and it really went down the wire until Game 3
We go first on the second match between Team Liquid PH and Smart Omega which like what Yawi has a "nostra" in one of our P.M.I.S. interviews, the barangay fielded in Super Yoshi
First game went easy to the cavalry but Game 2 listed a first in S15 that it surpassed over 30 minutes and TLPH could have finished the game with Karl-Oheb duo of Fanny and Irithel respectively but OMG got some other plans to stretch the series. Game 3 was a faster one to TLPH as they went home still with an unblemished 4-0 record.
From our P.M.I.S. interview, Coach Snap said that they chose Super Yoshi to match the meta with his aggressiveness while Ch4knu is a counter one
First match was another "on the line" thing between Twisted Minds and TNC
The Minds finally got their first game win in the tourney as Outplayed got the MVP honors with 9/2/7 KDA with Irithel. Honorable mention for Hadjizy's Cecilion with 1/0/17 count
The whip of TNC's reverse sweep came in Games 2 to 3 as Zaida's Nolan and 10/2/5 KDA of Kouzen's Granger got the game MVPs respectively.
What's in stake in the match was 5k and Airpods Max each of the players and TNC coaching staff as said in one of Dogie's recent vlogs and Lord JM admitted in our post match media interview that it added motivation for the team to win.
On the other side, Coach Bon Chan said that the team still needs some adjustments but they are already seeing a little light of day.
