Another two matches on the line earlier to start Week 4 action of MPL Philippines S15
First, Team Liquid PH put their immaculate record once again on the line against the hungry TNC team which came from back-to-back losses. Unlike what Dogie said in one of their P.M.I.S. that they will laid in 4 former Echo players, it reduced to 3 as Lord JM and Lancecy filled in spots. No 3martzy on sight but the much awaited TNC debut of BennyQT finally happened
TLPH got the Game 1 win but the Phoenix Army bounced back led by BennyQT's 7/0/6 with his Granger which got better numbers in the 3rd game. It was his hero in the entire series as TLPH said from my media interview that it was part of the gameplan to let him use it.
The crucial part in the cavalry's series win even with 10 team kills deficit over TNC was the last lord dance which Karltzy got at 21:16 mark in Game 3 which added to the team's 2.51k gold lead.
The Young Goat got the Game 3 MVP honors with 4/2/9 KDA with Suyou
In the next series, the retooled AP Bren finally got their first MPL PH S15 win in a 2-0 win versus Smart Omega
Their gold laner Shizou got the Game 2 MVP badge with 5/0/3 with his Moskov
From the post match media interviews, OMG's Coach Sn4p admitted that they played AP Bren's gameplay and being passive as some of the reasons behind their loss. He also shared that the mic was the cause of the tech pause that happened before Game 1 started.
Meanwhile, JamesPangks was happy to share on their first series win especially to experience to be interviewed at the MPL PH stage after the win
