A pair of matches to cap off the Week 5 of MPL Philippines Season 15 happened earlier.
Starting first on star match between Team Liquid PH and Twisted Minds. Game 1 was a shocker for the Minds to score the victory but the cavalry got to compose themselves to get a reverse sweep win which made them the 2nd squad to get a S15 playoffs seat after Aurora. TWIS is still stuck on their only series win in the season
In the post match media interviews, TLPH Coach Arsy admitted that he was shocked on TWIS Nana pick which was a first for the season. In Hadji's POV, he chose the said hero in Game 3 as it was ok in their recent practices.
In the first match, Team Falcons was back in the win column as they got a 2-0 series win over Smart Omega. Super Marco was on bullet proof once again to be the Game 2 MVP but not on his normal Grander but with Moskov at 7/0.8 KDA
In the post match media interviews, Coach Lembot said it was still not yet to push the panic button for the team. Learned from one of their mistakes as a result of their loss versus Aurora, FLCN Owgwen and Pheww shared that the key from their victory earlier was calmer shotcalling.
