In a 9 paragraph social post, she expressed that it's time to step away while the decision is difficult.
She said Thank You to the casters, league operations, production, staff, the players as well as us and the rest of my media colleagues in MPL which feel like home. She clarified though that it is not goodbye forever.
She served as host of MPL Philippines since Season 7 in time of pandemic and hosted a number of MLBB-related events from MSC, M Series including her last in M5 happened in Manila, the recent SPS ESL MLBB Challenge Finals last year in Malaysia and the first MSC in Esports World Cup 2024
The buzz of she might be on the next MPL PH season came in from not being in the official M6 talents picture to the recent "Why No Mara Aquino in M6?" video (a small part of her almost 90-minute Instagram live) that you first saw from our platform here late last December which also became a topic from socials and other online videos and podcast
For fans of Mara, she will not yet be out of our ears and eyeballs as she is still one of the radio DJs of Magic 89.9's Good Times as well as frequent guest co host for Good Times with Mo Podcast which is currently available on Spotify.
