Days after their trip to Indonesia, Onic Philippines got their first offline tournament this 2025 in Shanghai, China for MLBB World Champion Challenge last weekend.
The said tourney was also in time for the launch of MLBB CN version which is currently no. 1 in app downloads in the said country for five days as of writing.
Onic PH won a total of 4 game series. Day 1 was a BO1 versus CN's KOLs (key opinion leaders). Skip to Day 3 as they faced three MLBB teams in BO3 matches like PH's Kielvj and the rest of DFYG in 2-1, Rare Atom also at 2-1 and Keep Best Gaming which was their easiest in the day at 2-0 series win.
In the Day 1 pre-game interview, K1ngkong said that the graphics was the thing that he liked in MLBB CN version.
The sonics were victorious in the said tourney as they will go home with Php 1.206 million. Next tour of duty for them is the upcoming SPS ESL MLBB Challenge Finals this Feb. 10 to 16 in Malaysia.
