Start of the final week of MPL Philippines S14 as teams are still gunning for history and best placing possible going to the playoffs.
First, Smart Omega did a history in the league as the first brothers (Ch4knu and Bornok) played at the same time in Game 1 but it did not translate in a win which quickly made them a decision to bring back their usual main 5 with Uk1r in Game 2 to score a reverse sweep series win over the still struggling RSG Philippines
In the post match media interview earlier, Coach Panda of RSG is still not giving up on the fight as they still have one more match tomorrow versus Aurora but will also depend on the result of the same team versus Blacklist International a day after.
In the second game, no doubt that Fnatic Onic PH had an easier clash versus Falcons AP Bren in their rematch as they got a 2-0 series win including the fastest game win in Game 2 listed at 9 minutes and 51 seconds. Siper Frince had the tourney's debut of Cecilion and K1ngkong was the match MVP. Kelra went a bit different as he used Claude on both games.
FNOP is close to another history as the first possible MPL PH to be undefeated after the regular season tomorrow if they win over Smart Omega, one of the teams who is also running for the 2nd upper bracket playoffs slot.
