While MPL Philippines is still on preparation for the upcoming playoffs, we took some attention on the grand finals of MPL Singapore S8 and MDL Philippines S4
NIP Flash had a new opponent in the grand finale featuring PH imports Markyyy, Boyet and the rest of Evil but like what happened in MPL SG S8 Playoffs Day 1, they can't simply solve the puzzle of NIP Flash as the defending champs got the championship in 5 games 4-1. Evil won the Game 1 of the series.
NPFL Vanix as the regular season MVP while one of the team's PH inports Hadess got the finals MVP and now a three-time MPL SG champs. As I asked him in the post match media interview (as you can check on Ron Not The DJ on Youtube), he is happy about it but not yet contented as he will have to surpass the current record of his teammate Lolsie. In addition, the team is looking forward to face PH teams, SRG and Bigetron Alpha in M6 (if BTR will be at least be one of two grand finalists in MPL ID S14).
Meanwhile in the local shores, a new team yet with familiar faces as Lazy Esports dethroned the defending champs RRQ Kaito in MDL Philippines S4 that really went down to Game 7. As the grand finals went down to the seventh game, the global ban system rule had to do a reset.
JamesPangks is the Game 7 and Finals MVP. The team will take home USD 3,000 as the champions.
