It took a while for us to release this including a huge, important AI update and probably one of their best high midrange phone yet.
Meet the HONOR 200 as we unpacked it's official commercial unit.
Here's what to expect on the offciial commercial unit of HONOR 200

From the inside, we got the chance and patience to update this phone up to Magic OS 8 which including the AI features (will tell it more later at the article. With one of the latest from Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with 12 GB RAM, it flies so fast for it's asking price and category without that noticeable heat at least for multi tasking.
On connectivity, the phone can handle either 2 physical sims or 1 sim, 1 esim which is convenient with the rise of available prepaid eSIMs in the country. Superb indeed in terms of calls, texts, mobile data, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. Unfortunately, we only tried to to use it with 2 physical sims as I have yet to decide on the prepaid eSIM that will use soon.
On battery, the phone lasts for around 1.25 days on heavy usage. With it's 100 watt charger, it can go from zero to 100 percent for around 40 minutes.
On camera, it is a given that you will only feel the heat when you are shooting 4K and it was one of more than average in terms of quality that I checked in the number of high midrange phones that I checked for years. Shooting as far as 12x zoom in photos were still acceptable for social media. Ultra wides, low lights and filters were also awesome. Just check out the photo samples

In addition, both speakers (one at the bottom and one on top which is also the one that you will be hearing for calls) were more than average in almost all of the music genres that we threw in.
HONOR 200 official price in the Philippines is Php 24999 (which can even go as low as Php 23,400 plus in their previous sales) is offering that much value in terms of camera, performance, sound, connectivity, UI, battery and the added AI features especially if to compare with Reno 12 with the same SRP but a bit weaker SoC of choice. Even if you are coming from HONOR 90 to HONOR 200, it will be worth the upgrade and definitely a lot more if you are coming from HONOR 70.
HONOR 200 for us is 4.75 out of 5.
