In response on what a telco has done weeks ago, DITO recently announced their own affordable 5G-capable phone with DITO iTel P55 5G phone
itel P55 5G specs come with Dimensity 6080 SoC with Mali G57 MC2 GPU, dual SIM, 6.6 inch HD+ LCD display with 90 Hz refresh rate, dual main cameras composed of 50 MP wide, 8 MP front cam, itel OS 13 based on Android 13, 3.5 mm audio jack, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-C port, side fingerprint reader, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, and 5000 mAh battery with 18 watt wired charging
The openline version of it has a price tag of Php 5,899 as of November 2023 listing.
From their recent social media post, DITO iTel P55 5G official price is Php 4,999 with Level Up 99 SIM bundle plus unli 5G for a year. We have yet to confirm if it has the same specs as to the November 2023 release but it's now available in DITO stores and their official online channels.
