In the post-pandemic stage, Batangas Province all of a sudden got some options in the coworking space which emerged the number of freelance Batanguenos.
Previously there's one in Sto. Tomas City but got off while there are some in cities of Tanauan, Lipa and Batangas. .Good thing, we discovered Oasis Coworking Space in time with a meet-up with some of the freelancers in the province.
Oasis Coworking Space can accommodate up to 30 people and even open for events by just sending them a message in their Facebook page. The place is just a few meters of walk from Madison Gardens main entrance in the highway. The environment was different compared to the ones that we checked in Lipa City and Batangas City. Coworkers have an option to do their work in the group tables or even thru their sofa. The comfort room is just outside in the area and they also have a TV for possible need for presentations.
One of the must-haves in a coworking space is the coffee (it's Barako coffee as it is in Batangas province) and water which were good. While they are still in the works for a fiber internet connection, their wireless connection was there to power up the space. In case of an emergency for connection,. at least Smart LTE signal was strong for mobile data. Being in Sto. Tomas City, the strongest advantage of this coworking space is in within Meralco power unlike on other towns or cities.
The recently concluded Ala Eh Freelancers meet-up ran smoothly with the help of the space. Oasis Coworking Space is open weekdays from 9 am to 6 pm.
UPDATE AS OF LATE AUGUST 2024: Thru a PM inquiry that I sent, they confimed that they are now powered by a fiber-based internet connection
