It was the first game of TNC Pro Team in August 17 2024 in MPL Philippines S14 and one of the headliners was the coaching debut of former MPL PH analyst turned coach Wolf. We really looked forward to have an exclusive interview with him and when the go signal came in, we grabbed it in.
We took three main topics, We asked him on his previous June and July cryptic tweets like "Man, this really makes me want to quit casting" if it was already in time that he's courting by TNC to be their next coach. He said:
" ...Quitting casting... (as he said that it's a big exclusive for me) ... Essentially, mahirap, there were so many problems that I had to face when casting and it's not because of casting itself. It's because the amount of pressure that I put myself. Parang ganito lang yan. Sobrang kilala ko yung sarili ko na hindi ako papaya na mediocre yung product na gusto kong ilabas when it comes to the content, ganun yung casting ko. That's why di ko mapigilan yung sarili ko na manood ng more videos, one more video, one more stat sheet, laging ganon - nagsa0-suffer yung health ko and yun isang factor yun then madadagdagan pa sya ng ibang factors like shoutcasting unfortunately is not a sustainable job for a full time job. Lagi silang may joke about dun sa "richest caster" at yun honestly malayo sa katotohanan yun. I can name the list of 20 more people in the shoutcasting pool around na nag-e-earn ng much more than I do so that's not true but the thing is mukha kasi kaming nakakakuha ng magandang income coz yung mga suits namin, mga gear namin, ganun kaya pag ki-nalculate mo yun, di sya ganun ka-sustainable. It can but it will take a lot of effort tapos may mga added factors outside of it na di ko pa kasi ... baka maging out of context sya so di ko muna i-re-reveal sa ngayon pero... to sum it up, yung effort na binibigay ko as a person, di sya reciprocated ng monetarily and it's not Moonton or MPL PH's fault. Many factors."
