One of two Indonesia-based MLBB teams, Falcons Vega (previously known as GPX Besrang) had a hot run in day 1 of MLBB Womens Invitational (MWI) in Riyadh.
The girls just scored 2-0 series wins in their match-ups in CFU Serendipity and NA-based Cloud 9 which is also coached by MPL PH caster Midnight. The team had player swaps in between their 2 games but it was not a problem for the 6-women roster as they told the media that the are already used to it. They also added in their post match interview that being a part of a huge Team Falcons org really helped them in various ways including getting new ideas to MPL PH team Falcons AP Bren.
In the second half of 6 match affair, Team Vitality was not able to win all of their games as GG x Homegirls got the series tied in their match-up in their group.
MWI 2024 action will continue later at 5 pm Manila time as Ph's Smart Omega Empress will have two BO2 matches in the last 2 game series of the group stage
