Week 6 of MPL Philippines Season 13was gut wrenching especially for Smart Omega and Blacklist International who are still in the running for that one last playoffs slot.
Week 6 Day 3 was a breakthrough for the "barangay' led by the comeback of Ch4knu that they listed 2-0 that week with a series win versus the S12 champs AP Bren 2-1. Meanwhile, it was an easy 2-0 series win of Onic Philippines over BLCK.
Because of that, the 6 points gap that BLCK is holding is still quite reachable by OMG as long as the codebreakers will not gonna get a single point in their matches versus Echo and RSG. OMG will also have to do 2 series wins this Week 7 regardless if it is 2-0 or 2-1 against TNC (which is now out of playoffs contention) and Minana.
While no matter what happens that Minana will not go past in the upper bracket playoffs slots, it will be also critical for RSG, Echo, Onic and AP Bren to get one of the top 3 seats so that they will have that virtual "double elimination" advantage in case they will lose in their first series, they can catch up in the lower bracket.
