As expected by some MLBB fans from their great performance at Sea Games 2023, Smart Omega Empress bagged the trophy of Silab: Road to MWI championship against TNC Z4, the champs from the tournaments open qualifiers round.
The series went to a sweep 3-0. TNC Z4 admitted from their post match interview that they did not have that much preparation against OMGE.
Because of being the champions, Smart Omega Empress will represent the Philippines for the upcoming Mobile Legends Womens Invitational which will happen this last week of July in Riyadh as part of Esports World Cup festivities and a few weeks after the Mid Season Cup (MSC). The tournament will have a USD 500,000 prize pool - USD 250,000 of it will be for the world champions.
Aside from Bigetron Era from Indonesia which some of the players are looking for a payback from the SEAG 2023, their coach is also looking forward to face the upcoming representative from Malaysia as he said from their post match interview.
