While MPL Philippines S13 is on a break going to the playoffs, it was time for MDL Philippines S3 Playoffs and Silab: Road MWI semis and finals to takeover.
In the first game of MDL PH S3 Playoffs, Blacklist Rough World Era (BLRW) took advantage of the sudden change in the roster of TNC Z4 due to Jiee's 3-year suspension to score a 2-0 series win. Their winning streak continues since the Week 4 of eliminations and they will face RRQ Kaito in the next round tomorrow who holds the 9-0 elimination record. Whoever wins between them in a BO3 affair will get one of the 2 finals seats this Sunday.
In the second game, Echo Proud's quest for a three-peat championship in the developmental league continues as they eliminated Hito and the rest of Onic Arsenals also at 2-0 series win. In their round, it will be the MDL PH S2 finals rematch as they will face Smart Omega Neos in the semis the following day.
In the first game of Silab: Road to MWI semis, Smart Omega Empress' experience in offline gamnes as well in international tournaments brought advantages as they eliminated Onic ZOL 2-0. They will have to wait til Sunday in the grand finals to the winner of TNC Z4 FE and Super Monching FE match tomorrow.
