We may not able to check yet their X8b but at least we got the possible more affordable alternative to it, the HONOR X7b

As we are not seeing an Android 14-powered HONOR phone, expect that the UI of HONOR X7b is still the same as the one that you are seeing in their devices since late 2023.
On connectivity, there's no problem for us on calls, texts, LTE mobile data, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.
On battery with it's 35 watt wired charger (which coincidentally as the same as to HONOR X9b), it can be fully charged from 0 to 100% in almost 2 hours. Realistically with our daily usage on heavy mode on mobile data, we can max out this phone for around 1.75 days.
On Antutu as expected on a Snapdragon 680 processor ranged from over 297000 to over 320000 from normal to performance mode. 7 out of 9 sensors are working in here.
Rare time for us to review a phone with a 3.5 mm audio jack which HONOR X7b and happy to share that the audio output was more than average from our liking from almost all of the available music genres that we checked on Spotify.
On camera, we were surprised that HONOR X7b's photo camera quality was more than average for it's asking price as long as you are into auto or sometime's with AI mode enabled. We even captured a great "night mode" in it. One weakness that we checked that the audio capture on shooting videos was muffled but good to know that those cheap USB-C based lapel microphones worked magic on this device (you can check the first 3 post match media interviews that we uploaded on Ron Not The DJ Youtube channel to find out)

HONOR X7b is priced at Php 8999 in the Philippines. Photo camera, connectivity, strorage, design, price and battery are the strongest points of this phone. We cannot blame the poor audio capture on capturing videos (as long as you are contented to FHD 30 fps) due to it's asking SRP but the wireless lapel can do the solution. HONOR X7b for us is 4 out of 5.
