After 5 months, MPL Philippines is back for Season 13 as they had their first day yesterday with one time to remember - 4 pm which featured Minana Evos vs TNC and Season 12 finals rematch between AP Bren and Blacklist International.
Both game series finished in a 2-0 slate which for this season, the winning team will have 3 pts. regardless if they even had to grind in a 2-1 series.
Game 1 was an easy play for current S12 and M5 champions but Game 2 was for the books as both AP Bren and Blacklist had to grind out for over 30 minutes to get that W and even had a very long sixth lord dance. For the codebreakers, it was sort-of a comeback for Coach Bon Chan since Master The Basics handled the team for a number of seasons. It was also a debut win for new AP Bren tactical coach Treb since his transfer from Echo
Another debut in the coaching job, Benthings and TNC dominated most in games 1 and 2 but looks like Minana had other plans in the endgame and finished 2 games both at under 20 minutes.
Later, it will be first games of RSG vs Omega then Echo vs Onic PH and then back-to-back games of Blacklist and Minana to cap off the Saturday MPL PH S13 action
