Earlier was the match of the four remaining teams in the lower bracket, two of those will come back this Saturday for the Stage 2 of M5 Knockout Stage.
On the first series, it was a rare Blacklist Intermational that lost in Game 1 vs Geek Fam but was managed to go 3 straight win games 3-1. Of all those 3 won games where come from behind as the geeks of ID dominated the early parts of the game especially on objectives. The agents inside the Rizal Memorial Coliseum were on roar when Renejay unleashed BLCK's signature hero Estes to finish the series. Geek Fam is eliminated from the tournament.
The second series, it was the first time for a BO5 reverse sweep as Deus Vult edged See You Soon 3-2. In their post match interview, the team thought that they will dominate the series after their first 2 wins in the series but the EECA-based team had some other plans led by Sawo and Sunsetlover. Of course, Kidbomba's taunt of a 3-2 hand sign in Game 3 came in reality.
BLCK and DeVu will face for lower bracket semifinals tomorrow at 11 am (December 16) followed by the upper bracket finals clash between Onic and AP Bren. After that at 7 pm, it will be the winner of first game series and loser of second game series for the lower bracket finals. All of the three matches are still at BO% affair
