Lenovo Legion Slim 5i Unboxing, Review Phillippines

Probably the most high-end laptop (either in consumer or in gaming) that we experienced. One of the many laptops that Lenovo Philippines launched, we were allowed to borrow the Lenovo Legion Slim 5i for some spin.

This is what the packaging of the official commercial unit of Lenovo Legion Slim 5i.

Lenovo Philippines sent us the version with Intel i7 13700H processor, 16 GB RAM DDR5 5200 Mhz, 16 inch WUXGA 16:10 144 Hz display, Windows 11 Home, 512 GB SSD and RTX 4050 GPU. As of writing, the official price based on official Lenovo PH online store website is at Php 92,966.96

This is what the front looks like with the display. We love that simple Legion emblem in here and as we love the display on both media consumption and gaming.

We love that almost all of the ports were put in the back from USB 3.2 ports, LAN port and  HDMI port. There are also SD slot and webcam privacy shutter at the right side.

This is what the back of the laptop looks like.

Legion Slim 5i laid in a full keyboard on this gamin laptop which is responsive and smooth from simple high speed typing down to gaming. Like with some models, the mouse pad was on the left side and we never got any problems on it. The power brick has up to 210 watts which can fully charge the laptop at less than an hour.

On benchmarks, Lenovo Legion Slim 5i got 13766 on Unigine 2. On Cinebench R23, it got 1871 on single core and 15403 on multi core on Cinebench R23

On gaming with the given specs, no surprise that it was an easy peasy for us on Valorant on 144 Hz at max. of 337 fps.  On battery, the laptop survived it for around 90 to 100 minutes when you are out of the charger.

From the pricing, performance, display and specs - we love on what we experienced on Lenovo Legion Slim 5i. It is 4.25 out of 5 for us on the laptop.
