I am not surprised that in terms of size of the charging case, it is half tall as to the typical smartphones nowadays but I am not complaining at all as their claim of 60 total hours was quite true as it took a week before I charged it from 0%..
The 15 hours battery life for both earbuds? It's also true based on the two weeks that I used it as a main driver. Might be for the it's charging case size, I appreciate that you don't need a companion app to know the battery life of each earbud as well as the case itself which makes sense if you will gonna use in between using it on your smartphone and then to your laptop or PC.
Creative did a companion app on Outlier Pro called SXFI which you can download on Google Play and App Store for free. For now, the app only works for offline music apps (means those music that you stored in your phones internal storage) and will not work on online music apps like Spotify. Gesture controls were on point from pause/play, volume up and down and others. Used it for cellular calls (with VoWiFi or VoLTE) and my voice was clear according to those that I asked on the other line. Given that it has 6 microphones (3 on each earbud). Switching on an already paired phone to laptop and back was one the quickest that I experienced on a TWS device.
There is no info yet on the charging output but when I filled it using a third party 20 watt charger, the device charged for a bit more than an hour. On the sound profile, Outlier Pro worked best if you are into hip hop and some electronica with some right kicks on the bass part.
Creative Outlier Pro is the best TWS earphones that I tried so far mainly for it's sound quality, gesture controls, some nifty features and that massive 60 hours battery life was an easy choice for me for those who do long bus travels or maybe in the wild for a couple of days without that much access to electricity.
The official price of Creative Outlier Pro in the Philippines base on their listing on Shopee and Lazada is Php 5594. Given that Creative is already an established brand in the audio and PC scene and with the given features especially the battery life, it is worth the buy for me. Creative Outlier Pro for me is 4.75 out of 5
