One of the successful local food business born during the pandemic, they brought the "ultimate Japanese food trip" (as mentioned in their tagline) in Batangas province as Yaki Yaki recently opened their branch there.
At the same time, it was also their first branch in the whole CALABARZON area. Started last 2021 in Taguig City, it was now their 39th branch so far. The formal opening happened last July 14 2023.
Behind the name was two of their most popular food offerings in the menu, YAKIsoba and TakoYAKI.
In our first visit in Batangas City since late 2018, we were fortunate with other known local b/vloggers in the said province as well in nearby Calamba City to experience the delicious yet affordable Japanese food choices.
Each of us got different food servings. For me, we got one of their popular Ramen Sets (which has gyoza and choice of ramen and katsu meal) for only Php 255 which compared to others, the said price might not be enough for the said noodle-based dish. What they served to me was tantamen ramen which has the right spiciness for me and chicken katsu.
Next is their Yaki Gyoza (12 pc, Php 210) which their own twist to a classic gyoza but with cheese which is aprub for me. The Trio Tako (only available in 12 pcs., Php 179) which has 3 different flavors of Takoyaki (4 pcs. each flavor) in one tub either good for sharing or those who have that big appetite which was also delicious. For drinks, they also served not-the-usual selections from their Osaka Milk Bar series - Strawberry Oreo Kumiru (Php 89) which is a milk-based drink infused with strawberry and oreo and their large red iced tea for Php 30.
For those who might be asking, they are accepting for franchise as low as Php 299,000 but the full amount will depend on the branch type from their five different store options.
Yaki Yaki Batangas City branch is now open to serve you in the fourth floor of food court area of Bay City Mall. They are available soon for delivery via Grabfood, Foodpanda and in Batangas province-based Ala Ehxpress Delivery Services.
