At the recent Games 1 and 2 of NBA Finals 2023 between Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat, PLDT Home showcased their might in the fiber internet space as they streamed the games with NBA League Pass at their select offices around the country.

From our available sked, we chose Game 2 that happened last Monday 8 am Manila time at PLDT office in Calamba City, Laguna which is a few walks away from a number of public utility terminals and a mall.
Being that you can pay your bills and message your inquiries on their various channels, it's been almost two decades since I went inside a PLDT office and it was pleasant looking (I chose not to take pics/vids of the entire officce as we respect privacy there).
We were fortunate and honored to met PLDT Calamba branch supervisor Rina Lapuz and PLDT South Luzon Area Head Val Fule to ask more on the telco especially in their area scope since the pandemic and now with the NBA League Pass bundle. Ms. Rina answered that the numbers increased in terms with the number of PLDT Home subscribers. We also noticed that we are only seeing people who visited there either applied for a new connection or those who still want to pay their bills in a personal way.
Back to the game, it was a back-and-forth game between the Nuggets and Heat but the Coach Eric Spoelstra-backed team made sure that there will be at least a Game 5 to watch as the series is tied.
