Before the year ends, here's a pahabol as we checked Honor Philippines' latest flagship phone - Honor Magic 4 Pro. A might-be choice if you still have that Christmas bonus and you need to have a high end phone to celebrate the New Year.

We chose to do less screenshots as it is the same that we saw from the likes of Honor X6 and Honor X7.
The Magic UI 6 based Android 12 on Honor Magic 4 Pro just flies on everytime I used it with it's choice processor which is Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Happy to know that it does not heat that much on heavier tasks like video editing and even for games.
Connectivity is a given to the processor as we had no problems on 5G mobile data, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, texts and calls
With the provided 100 watt wired charger inside the box, the device only needed less than 25 minutes to go from 0 to 100%. .Given that it has a flagship SoC, we can barely survive this phone within 24 hours.
In bonus, the audio both via USB-C port and speakers were excellent.
On camera, there are a lot of modes that you can play on Honor Magic 4 Pro. Auto mode was as fantastic but the AI mode was perfect for us on night mode especially with the number of places that are displaying Christmas lights for the Holidays. The up-to 100x zoom was also servicable as long as you have that pretty steady hands. Two weaknesses that we saw is the bit of a lag when you do a "panning" in videos and for some reason, the device does not have 8K video capture

Honor Magic 4 Pro is priced at Php 52,990. It might be a bit expensive compared to other brands that are at over Php 30,000 to within the Php 40,000 price tag but the quality of display, connectivity, fast charging and various photo and video camera modes were the strengths of this device. I just hope HONOR PH can answer on why this device does not have 8K video capture and the fix when shooting a panning video
