We had our first try with them last 2019 in Solaire. Now in a better venue (in our own opinion), Rev Major returned more than a weekend ago in SMX near SM MOA.
The venue was set in F4 and F5 of the said convention center. We chose to be on the second day to catch more of the finale of some of the arcade games. Our most loved arcade game is Mavel vs Capcom 2 which was the first serving of grand finale in the opening hours. We saw the familiar faces way back from it's heydays like JR Bata and Anakaris which were on the top 4 finalists.
After that it was a mix of various eliminators and finales from Super Smasher Bros, Tekken 7, Street Fighter V and Guilty Gear. We also got the chance to join in the scheduled media interview of Book (Talon Esports, Thailand) as the Street Fighter V champion.
We also checked various merchs and product showcases from their partner brands from new PC monitors, joysticks, shirts and others. To our surprise, their partner food booths prices were not bad at all compared to other conventions that we attended.
We also saw exclusive Rev Major merch from shirts to jackets.
Despite that there was a lil fire happened during Day 1, Rev Major 2022 finished smoothly as well with the available streaming links. Two thumbs up to Gariath Concepts team for our first time experience to be one of their media partners as well as for the whole experience as gaming continues as we are still in the pandemic.
